BUGS AND BEATLES AT RIPLEY’S THIS SUMMER!
There are some critters taking up residence at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! over the summer months!
A number of new exhibits have been put in place at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach attraction that will amaze you from the world of the weird and wonderful.
Cyborg bugs, made from children’s war toys, are now on display at the Promenade attraction and have been made by Dean Christ who spent years perfecting his art in making them into helicopters, planes and tanks. Made to look like insects, these tiny exhibits are sure to spook and amaze at the same time.
The legendary Chupacabra has also left his mark on Ripley’s Believe It or Not! after a footprint of Big Foot was spotted in one of the exhibition displays next to a number of other new items from the strange world of the unreal.
And an exhibit that is sure to get tongues wagging is a carved telephone book that has been made into a face by Philadelphia-based artist Alex Queral (pictured).
Britain’s biggest band The Beatles are also making an appearance this summer with the Fab Four appearing on matchstick boxes along with other pop royalty including Bono, David Bowie and Freddie Mercury from Queen.
Ripley’s Believe it or Not! is located on Ocean Boulevard by the Pleasure Beach. For the latest information and discount offers visit www.ripleysblackpool.com
