Where does the name Blog come from?

It comes from shortening the word Weblog. For anyone that cares, a weblog is literally a ‘log’ of activities on the web. But now blog is a common part of our digital lives. It’s a noun (blog – sites like this one where users share their thoughts) and a verb (to blog is to share your thoughts online). So what are you waiting for – you could be a fully fledged blogger in a matter or seconds… just choose a topic, read the comments and add yours to the mix.

Why bother blogging?

Surfing is no fun if you can't tell people what you've found, what you’ve done, or what you think about it all. The Pleasure Beach Blog is a site where we can all share those, views, news, information and experiences.
