Charity begins at Pleasure Beach, Blackpool this November with a special performance of skating spectacular Hot Ice in aid of local children’s hospice Derian House. On Friday November 2nd during the 7.30pm show, every single seat in the Arena will be just £12.50 with proceeds from ticket sales for that performance destined for the Chorley-based care centre. Derian House Children's Hospice is the lifeline which gives terminally ill children and their families the strength to go on and their means of survival through the darkest moments. It gives the children a home from home, the best possible medical care and as much fun and laughter as they can pack into their shortened lives. With less than 2% of its funding coming from official sources, the reality is that Derian House is open 365 days a year but only receives statutory funding for just four days a year. Each year Derian House need to raise £1.45m just to keep operating. Slip into the Arena at Pleasure Beach, Blackpool this November 2nd and you can help. Photo opportunities will also be available before the show with Hot Ice skating stars with £1 from every photo sold on the night also donated to the charity. A prize raffle will also be drawn on the evening.
