How will the situation regarding Covid-19 affect my visit?

We operate with a range of policies and procedures to ensure our amusement park remains as safe as possible for all our guests.

We regularly update these policies and procedures. We strongly recommend you read through the information on this page before booking your visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

FAQ'S

eTickets

The only way to gain entry to Pleasure Beach Resort is to purchase an eTicket. This applies to everyone, except for carers and children aged under 2*.

eTickets allow you to enter the park and enjoy all of our rides, including Nickelodeon Land all day long. There are two different price points for Adults (aged 12 and over) and Juniors (aged 11 and under) for tickets. eTickets must be scanned to enter the Park, and at the ride turnstiles during your visit to access the rides.

No, we no longer offer non-rider/Pleasure Beach Pass tickets or individual ride tickets.

The only way to gain entry to  Pleasure Beach Resort is to purchase an eTicket. This applies to everyone, except for those who qualify for an Essential Companion and children aged under 2*.

 Height Restrictions apply to many of our rides, please check them here.

Please refer to our additional information for Guests with Small Children and Children Under 2 on details on the 19 rides guests can ride regardless of their height.

Yes, you can. Before you leave please ensure you have seen an ambassador so you are able to re-enter after you leave. Please keep your eTickets as proof of purchase.

Can I hire a wheelchair?

Yes, we have a limited number of wheelchairs for hire. Please report to Ticket Sales, located on the ground floor of the Casino Building, or Guest Services by the Grand National ride entrance, who will check availability. You will be required to leave a deposit for security on a wheelchair.

If you or a member of your group has a recognised medical condition which prevents you or them from being able to queue for a ride, we offer a unique ‘EasyPass’ ride access service.

This must be applied for 7 or more days in advance of your visit to the Park via Nimbus Disability.

We also have a dedicated Accessibility Enquiry phone line – 0333 003 2212

This phone line is available every day from 9 am – 5 pm. Dialling 03 numbers cost no more than a national rate call to an 01 or 02 number and must count towards inclusive minutes on mobile phone tariffs.

To access the rides at  Pleasure Beach Resort:

  • All children must have their own eTicket
  • Be able to walk unaided, i.e. they do not need to be carried and must be wearing hard-soled shoes
  • They must also be accompanied onto the ride by an adult with a valid eTicket.

There are 19 rides that guests can ride regardless of their height. Please see our webpage for Guests with Small Children and Children aged 2 & under for more information.


Can I use a Junior eTicket on the Big One?

Yes, all our eTickets are valid on all the rides in the park. As long as you are tall enough and meet our access requirements, you will be able to ride.

Can my children come to the park unaccompanied?

We request that all children are supervised by a responsible person preferably over the age of 12, who exceeds our maximum height requirement of 132cm.

Height restrictions apply to many of our rides and in some cases are not suitable for small children.

You must book in advance online and use our NEW eTicket allowing you to enter the park and gain access to the rides.

We understand that the weather can very be unpredictable so you can still book online the day before your visit prior to midnight you still receive an online discount compared to the gate price. You can book online for the same day but there is no discount and the Gate Price will be charged.

 

How do I know my booking has been confirmed?

If you have a reference number then you have a confirmed booking. You should receive a confirmation email with a reference number and instructions on how to claim your eTickets.

If you haven’t received a confirmation email please contact us by email to [email protected] or call us and we can send this to you.

 

I received a ‘payment failure’ message at the end of my booking.

Please ensure your billing details entered on the Pleasure Beach website are correct and check that:

  • The cardholders name has been entered as it appears on the card.
  • The billing address entered is the same as it appears on the card statement.
  • Please also enter the Issue Number if your card has one.

 

What is Card Security Verification or 3D Secure?

VISA 3D Secure and MasterCard Secure Code are additional security measures used by some card issuers. Both systems are based on a payment authentication process where a cardholder making a purchase is verified to be the real cardholder.

During the online payment, you may be transferred to the card issuer’s website, and asked additional security questions to confirm that you are the genuine cardholder. In the event of failure to complete the 3D-Secure process successfully, payment will not be accepted.

You might want to change:

  • The date of your visit.
  • You may not have booked the correct products.
  • You may want to add products or supplements to your booking.

eTickets or  Show Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please ensure you have your booking reference and information ready. We may charge a transfer fee for changes to your booking.

Here’s some helpful information about our opening and closing times.

  • Our daily opening and closing times vary throughout the season – CLICK HERE TO SEE OUR OPENING TIMES
  • The Ticket Sales & Information point opens 30 minutes before the park opens
  • The rides open on a staggered basis from when the park opens
  • When our rides closing time is time is 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 9pm or 10pm Nickelodeon Land will close one (1) hour earlier
  • Our ‘closing’ times refer to the last time you can join a ride queue
  • Our opening and closing times are subject to change, including the operating times of individual Rides and Attractions

Pleasure Beach Resort offers season passes giving frequent visitors fantastic value for money.

A Platinum Season Pass gives you access to all of the rides for every day of the season, that’s over 200 days of fun!

Nickelodeon Land is a themed area of Pleasure Beach Resort containing rides and characters from your favourite Nickelodeon shows.

There is no need to purchase additional tickets to enter this area. For more information on Nickelodeon Land CLICK HERE.

For your safety we have enhanced security procedures at Pleasure Beach Resortand ask for your cooperation.

Pleasure Beach Resort operates enhanced security checks at the entrance to the park. On the day of your visit please try to avoid bringing large bags or anything larger than A4. This will avoid delays at the security check at the entrance at the start of your day.

The following are additional items that are not permitted: any type of weapon, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, large duffle bags/luggage.

Yes, we are now cashless.

We now offer guests the option of a ‘Pre-paid Cash Card’ where you can exchange cash at Ticket Sales or Guest Services for a Pre-paid Cash Card you can use all over the park. Terms and conditions apply – click HERE to view them.

There are some great special offers open to groups wishing to come to Pleasure Beach Resort.

A successful group day out takes time, effort and planning and we are committed to making a booking with us as easy and stress-free as possible. Our Groups Department will work with you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs. If you have an organised group of 15 people or more, we offer deals for Pleasure Beach Resort as well as shows and food & drink during your visit.

Yes, once you have exchanged your Tesco Clubcard Partner Code for eTickets, direct with Tesco, you will receive a Tesco Rewards Partner Code for Pleasure Beach Resort via email – this code normally starts with “MBPB”.

To exchange the Code, click ‘BOOK NOW’ select your date of visit and add your eTickets, when you are about to checkout and complete your payment enter your Tesco Reward Partner Code into the “Discount Code” field to deduct this from your total. Please note the Tokens are only applicable to Adult or Junior eTickets and no other products. Only one Tesco code can be used per booking.

Yes!

We have a range of lockers available to keep your valuables safe and secure during your visit. Lockers are located at multiple points inside and outside the park and incur a cost for hire (approximately £3-£6 depending on locker size). Please note a debit or credit card is required to hire the locker.

Most of our rides have storage areas or may allow belongings to be taken on with the guest, however all property left in storage areas is left at their own risk.

Picnics

Due to the intensity of rides and attractions within the 42-acre site, there is limited space and picnics and food are not permitted beyond the main entrance.

A dedicated picnic area with tables and umbrellas is provided adjacent to the entrance of Pleasure Beach on the Adventure Golf site. Pleasure Beach is located on the seafront of South Beach, Blackpool and its fantastic promenade and golden sands provide additional picnic spots enjoyed by many.

Allowances are made for guests with special dietary requirements and dedicated picnic areas are also provided for school parties booked in advance. Storage facilities are provided for those who bring outside food to the park. Please note the following items are permitted beyond the main entrance:

  • Bottled water
  • Any food for medical purposes
  • Any food required for special dietary needs
  • Baby food/baby formula
  • Guests with special dietary requirements can report to an Ambassador upon arrival.
 

Bikes, Scooters, Trolleys

All of the above vehicles are not allowed into Pleasure Beach Resort. For further clarification on these please contact us in advance of your visit.

Smoking

Please note smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted in any queue lines for rides at Pleasure Beach Resort or in the Nickelodeon Land area of the park. Guests are kindly requested to observe this at all times.

Assistance Animals & Guide Dogs

We recognise that some guests require additional assistance from a service animal in order to visit Pleasure Beach Resort, therefore, assistance animals and guide dogs are permitted to enter the Park.

We reserve the right to request proof of training and to refuse access to untrained animals due to the health and safety risk they pose to both guests and staff. 

Please note, due to the nature of our attraction, Pleasure Beach Resort has crowded spaces, secure entrances and exits, unusual lighting, noises and smells, special effects and involves interaction with a range of mechanical devices. Please bear this information in mind when planning your visit.

Photography

No filming of any kind is allowed on any Pleasure Beach Resort rides, including using Go-Pros and similar devices or handheld extension poles for cameras and cell phones. We have ride photography available for purchase on selected rides.

Are selfie sticks allowed?

No. The use of handheld extension poles for cameras and cell phones such as selfie sticks is not permitted to be used on rides at Pleasure Beach Resort.

Can I fly a drone?

Pleasure Beach Resort is a no-fly drone zone. Anyone found flying a drone over Pleasure Beach Resort will face legal action.

Dress Code

Pleasure Beach Resort operate a policy where shirts/t-shirts must be worn at all times. Clothing with offensive language or graphics is not permitted at any time.

Lost Property

All lost property is taken to our security office. If you think you may have lost something whilst visiting Pleasure Beach Resort please report to Guest Services, situated near the Grand National, if you are still within the park or the Ticket Centre on the ground floor of the Casino Building.

We will ask you to complete a ‘Lost Property Form’ and then liaise with our security team.
