Helpful Documents

We can provide you with a number of documents to help make planning a day out at Pleasure Beach as easy as possible.

What is an unlimited ride wristband

Pleasure Beach ride wristbands allow you to enjoy all the rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Nickelodeon Land. Please note: height restrictions apply on certain rides and some attractions may charge an additional cost.

Can students leave the park unattended

Each student will wear a blue wristband on his or her wrist. Once they are inside the park, our security ambassadors are instructed not to allow students with a blue wristband out unless escorted by a teacher prior to 3:00pm

How do I book a school trip?

Email the Education Team  [email protected] and we will respond to your enquiry

Do you provide lockers

We have a range of lockers available to keep your valuables safe and secure during your visit. Lockers are located at multiple points inside and outside the park and incur a cost for hire (cost varies depending on size of locker)

Can the students bring a packed lunch with them

There is limited space within the 42 acre site and picnics are not permitted beyond the main entrance for the general public, however, allowances are made for guests with special dietary requirements and dedicated picnic areas are also provided for school parties booked in advance.

Do any of the rides feature strobe lighting

Some rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach expose children to strobe lighting, these are: Alice Ride and Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic

Are there parking facilities on site

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has 5 car parks with over 1,000 car parking spaces and a dedicated coach park

Are the rides suitable for guests with disabilities

Whilst we try to be as inclusive as is reasonably practicable this may not always be possible due to the nature and effect of rides and attractions, and in particular having regard to the health and safety of all guests who use them.

We recommend that you download our Guide for Guests with Disabilities

Can I do a pre-visit before the trip

Teachers are more than welcome to conduct a pre-visit prior to the trip which must be arranged in advance by calling a member of the Education Team

Do any of the rides expose children to water

Some rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach may expose children to water, these are: Valhalla, Rugrats Lost River and SpongeBob’s Splash Bash

I am a Primary School teacher, are the rides suitable for smaller children

All rides are subject to height restrictions and we recommend you check these prior to your visit
