Big Dipper has officially reopened! After nine months of works, the Big Dipper has had new paint to its iconic onion and maintenance on its track and structure.

The famous rollercoaster turns 100 this year, and of course we want to celebrate in style!

On 23^rd August, we are throwing a birthday bash for our much-loved veteran ride. Celebrations will commence once the park closes as we invite guests to join the party.

Upon arrival, guests will receive a commemorative birthday party ticket, discount on centenary merchandise, certificate and voucher for a complimentary glass of prosecco and cupcake, and of course, they will have the opportunity to ride the coaster on her special day. There will be plenty of entertainment and laughs… it wouldn’t be a party without it!

In honour of Big Dipper’s rich history, we want to transport you back to where it all began! So we have launched a magical time machine.

Simply upload any image of yourself at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and we will send it on a journey back to 1923. You will receive your centenary image via email, and the rest is history…
