Tweedy’s MASSIVE Solo Show 

Tweedy the clown is a popular, internationally recognized British clown, best known for his role in Giffords Circus and The Everyman Theatre’s pantomimes.
He has also toured with Cirque Berserk including in their West End productions.

Described by The Daily Telegraph as, “the Mark Rylance of clowning”, Tweedy has created a number his own shows playing to sell out audiences, standing ovations and receiving critical acclaim.

Tweedy has won many comedy awards and his talents are in much demand in circus, theatre, TV and film, both at home and abroad.

He has built up a cult following which includes a number of celebrities.

In 2023 Tweedy was awarded the British Empire Medal in King Charles III’s very first New Year Honours list. It’s the first time a medal has been given out specifically for work in the circus.

In 2025 he received an Honorary Fellowship from Gloucestershire University for his innovative and inspirational
career in performing arts as Tweedy the Clown.

During lockdown he teamed up with The Barn Theatre, writing and performing a weekly live show for twelve weeks, to entertain and reassure children of the situation.

For two years, Tweedy was featured clown on Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey shows, playing such prestigious venues as Madison Square Garden.

He has just published his first children’s book ‘Tweedy the clown who lost his nose.
