Annual Pass Terms and Conditions

  • 1. An application for an Annual Pass (“the Pass”) shall be made online at www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com where an individual will be required to create an Account and make the payment for the Pass. After a successful payment the applicant will then receive an email confirmation and instructions on the process of providing personal data of the intended Pass holder to include, full name, contact address, email, telephone number, date of birth, and upload a current photograph; and after successful submission an Annual Pass will be issued to one individual (“the Pass Holder”) and the Pass will have allocated to it a unique number which will be linked to the Pass Holders supplied personal data. Where the Pass Holder is a minor in Law and the application has been made by their relative, Legal Guardian or connected person then where the context requires reference in these terms and conditions to the Pass Holder shall include that relative, Legal Guardian or connected person. The Pass will be issued to and held by the Pass Holder either electronically and/or by a physical card. The Pass is neither transferable nor (unless provided for in these terms and conditions) refundable and remains the property of Blackpool Pleasure Beach Ltd at all times. In these terms and conditions reference to BPB also includes where the context requires the Amusement Park known as Blackpool Pleasure Beach and all rides, attractions, facilities and venues. Subject to clause 17 of these terms and conditions the issue of the Pass shall (unless the Pass Holder has opted out) be on an auto-renewal basis so that at the end of the Term the Pass shall be auto-renewed with payment being taken from the debit/credit card stored by BPB within its purchaser Stripe Account provided always that if the payment is not confirmed then the Pass shall not be renewed and further provided always that the Pass Holder shall be entitled to disable the auto-renew process at any time by using their My Account on the BPB website. BPB shall use its reasonable endeavours to electronically contact the Pass Holder at least 30days before the auto-renewal date to remind the Pass Holder of this event. As part of the auto-renew process BPB shall be entitled to require an updated photograph of the Pass Holder before the Pass is issued.
  • 2. Subject to clause 17 of these terms and conditions the Pass shall be valid for a period of 365 days from the date of issue (“the Term”) provided always that during that during the Term there will be periods of time when Blackpool Pleasure Beach will be closed to the public and during these periods the Pass Holder will be unable to use the Pass to acquire an entry eTicket and it is the responsibility of the Pass Holder to check and establish the dates on which the Pass may be used. The Pass Holder shall be entitled to terminate the Pass by giving written notice to BPB within 14 days from the date of issue of the Pass provided always that in the event that the Pass Holder has used the Pass within that 14 day period and obtained an eTicket then BPB shall charge the Pass Holder for each eTicket supplied at the normal retail cost applicable for the date of visit and if the total cost of the eTickets supplied is less than the cost of the Pass then the difference shall be repaid to the Pass Holder but if the total cost is more, then the Pass Holder shall pay the difference to BPB.
  • 3. Subject to clause 2 of these terms and conditions if during the Term the Pass Holder wishes to terminate the Pass then they shall be entitled to do so use using their My Account on the BPB website but they shall not be entitled to a refund.
  • 4. In order to acquire an entry eTicket the Pass Holder MUST do so online via The Blackpool Pleasure Beach App or today.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/season-pass. The Pass Holder must provide the registered email address to acquire an eTicket for their chosen date and the Pass Holder shall receive 1 (one) eTicket and a maximum of one per calendar day.
  • 6. In the event that the Pass Holder is under 16 years of age and/or during normal school hours (9am-3pm, excluding School and Public Holidays) BPB reserves the right to withhold issue of an eTicket unless the Pass Holder provides evidence of the express consent of their Parent or Legal Guardian, prior to the request. In cases where no consent is provided, and/or BPB suspects it is inappropriate for the Pass Holder to attend BPB, it reserves the right to invalidate and/or retain the Pass and refuse the issue of an eTicket.
  • 7. The Pass Holder shall be entitled upon presentation of their Annual Pass at the Pleasure Beach Arena venue to purchase a single ticket to watch the Hot Ice production during its run. The cost of the ticket shall be the eTicket upgrade price applicable for the performance date selected. There are a limited number of free tickets available for matinee performances on selected dates, allocation is on a first come first serve basis. Only the Pass Holder shall be entitled to this discounted price for only a single seat per performance and the Pass Holder shall not be entitled to re sell nor gift the ticket to another person. BPB shall be entitled to check that the bearer of the ticket is the Pass Holder and if not, the bearer shall be refused entry. Terms and conditions of entry to and use of the Pleasure Beach Arena venue also apply. This discount entitlement cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
  • 8. BPB shall be entitled to immediately invalidate and/or retain the Pass should any of the following circumstances occur:
    • 8.1 Any abuse or fraudulent use of the Pass or attempts thereof, or
    • 8.2 Any unauthorised alteration of the Pass, or
    • 8.3 Any defacing of the Pass, or
    • 8.4 Any manipulation or attempted manipulation of the Pass and/or the BPB App on which the Pass is held, or
    • 8.5 Any act or omission by the Pass Holder, which in the opinion of BPB is prejudicial (including (where the Pass Holder is under 18) any safeguarding issue) to the operation of BPB and/or any visitor to BPB, or
    • 8.6 Any breach by the Pass Holder of BPB’s terms and conditions of access to and use of its rides, attractions and venues, or
    • 8.7 As BPB is a no-fly drone zone, should the Pass Holder fly or cause to fly a drone over BPB and/or record the flight
    • and/or post a recording of the flight and/or share other postings on social media of drone flights over BPB then the
    • Pass shall be immediately invalidated, and the Pass Holder may face other legal action.
  • 9. The issue of the Pass shall not guarantee, nor does BPB warrant:
    • 9.1 The availability and /or quantity of any particular ride(s), device(s), attraction(s) or show(s) upon any visit made by the Pass Holder to BPB, or 9.2. That the Pass Holder shall be given access to any particular ride(s), device(s), attraction(s) or show(s) and/or quantity of the ride(s), device(s) or attraction(s) or show(s). 9.3. That the Pass Holder shall be exempt from the height, health and safety requirements and other restrictions which apply, from time to time, to the ride(s), device(s) and attraction(s) at BPB.
  • 10. In the event that the Pass is invalidated pursuant to any Clause of these terms and conditions, the Pass Holder shall not be entitled to a refund of any monies and the Pass Holder may be removed from and prohibited from re entering BPB.
  • 11. The Pass shall not be used in conjunction with any offer or promotion operated by BPB from time to time.
  • 12. The opening and closing times of BPB varies from time to time. The Pass Holder must visit the website blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/opening-times/ or telephone 0871 222 1234 prior to any visit to check such times. (Calls to 0871 numbers cost 13 pence per minute plus your telephone company’s access charge)
  • 13. BPB reserves the right to:
    • 13.1 Alter and amend which shows and rides are available for the use in conjunction with any eTicket at its sole discretion and without prior notice to the Pass Holder,
    • 13.2 Carry out reasonable and proportionate security searches of individuals and/or their property before entry to BPB (for items which BPB (in its general terms and conditions of entry) states are prohibited from being allowed to be brought into/onto its premises) and if the Pass Holder refuses, they may be prohibited from entering BPB,
    • 13.3 Operate and record images using a CCTV system of its premises and those (including the Pass Holder) who visit for the purpose of safety and security,
    • 13.4 hold special events on its premises for which it shall be entitled to require the Pass Holder to pay a supplemental charge to attend,
    • 13.5 restrict entry to its premises where (for safety and/or operational reasons) the safe visitor capacity has been reached in which event the Pass Holder will be refused an eTicket and shall not be entitled to a compensatory payment.
  • 14. The Pass Holder shall not whilst participating on any ride, device or attraction and/or visiting a show take or cause to take any sound or visual recording and any breach of this clause shall entitle BPB to invalidate the Pass.
  • 15. Where services and/or products at BPB are provided by third parties then the Pass Holder shall not be entitled to obtain and/or access the same without a separate payment being made by the Pass Holder to the third party.
  • 16. BPB reserves the right to alter, amend or otherwise add to these terms and conditions at any time and shall give notice to the Pass Holder of such.
  • 17. BPB shall not be liable for any failure in performance of any of its obligations under the Pass caused by factors outside of its control (force majeure). If such circumstances arise and then continue for a continuous period one (1) month BPB shall be entitled to terminate the Pass without any liability to the Pass Holder.
  • 18. Subject to BPB’s Privacy Policy at blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/privacy-policy the Pass Holder consents to receipt of exclusive offers and discounts, from time to time.
  • 19. From time to time we partner with other Companies and these partnerships provide benefits to our Pass Holders. However, those partnerships and associated benefits are not guaranteed and can be terminated and/or withdrawn at any time. All information published by us and/or contained within our Website in relation to those benefits cannot be regarded to be an inducement and/or representation relied upon to enter into a contract with us, nor are they a contractual term, and therefore their withdrawal and/or change do not amount to a breach of contract. Our Partners will have their own terms and conditions applying to the benefits over which we have no control, and Pleasure Beach Pass holders trying to access the benefits are subject to the same.
