Overview:

Stageworks Worldwide Productions are looking for an experienced Stage Manager to join the team for our 2025 production Hot Ice XS at the Pleasure Beach Arena.

Dates: 16^th June 2025 – 30^th September 2025 (6 Days per week, Monday to Saturday)

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and coordinate all stage and backstage operations during rehearsals and performances.
2. Collaborate with production crew, and creative teams to ensure seamless execution of the show.
3. Conduct pre-show and post-show checks to ensure the stage, props, and equipment are performance-ready.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during rehearsals or performances.
5. To ensure show pre-sets are completed for each performance.
6. To ensure Props, Scenery, Lighting and Sound equipment are maintained.
7. To operate Performer Flying, Pyrotechnic and Fire Effect systems.
8. To provide show calls to Cast and Crew.
9. To complete a show report after each performance.
10. To carry out daily and weekly performer flying checks.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Stage Manager or in a similar role within live entertainment, preferably in ice shows.
2. Familiarity with technical aspects of lighting, sound, and special effect.
3. Awareness of Risk Assessments and the importance of Health and Safety in the work place.
4. Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.

3. The ability to multi-task as well as carry out specific tasks with due diligence.
4. Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
5. Familiar with using power and hand tools to fix props and scenery.
