We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team at Pleasure Beach Resort.

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our rides, attractions, buildings and equipment, helping to ensure everything operates safely and efficiently.

What we’re looking for

• Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good understanding of basic electrical systems and components.
• A practical, hands-on approach to maintenance, fault finding and problem solving.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience within a manufacturing, maintenance, automated or similar engineering environment would be an advantage.

The role

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out electrical pre-use checks to ensure safe operation.
• Maintaining rides, attractions, equipment and facilities.
• Responding to ride breakdowns.
• Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance.
• Installing and upgrading electrical components and equipment.
• Using electrical drawings and schematics to diagnose and rectify faults.
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
• Working closely with other engineers and departments across the Pleasure Beach Resort.

Working Pattern

Our Engineering Team operates on a rota system during park opening hours, which includes weekend working.

The role may also involve working outside normal hours when required, particularly during maintenance periods or in response to operational requirements.

Working Conditions

The role involves working at height and some confined spaces.
