About the Role:

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is one of Blackpool’s busiest destinations. We are a quality driven operator with a passion for high standards and strive to ‘WOW’ our guests. We are currently looking for a Retail Team Leader to supervise our Famous Souvenir, Ride Photo and Gifts Shops, including our Fantastic Exclusive Nickelodeon Shop and our Brand New Flagship shop – new for 2023.

As a dynamic and innovative Team Leader, you will help to create lifelong memorable experiences in our attraction for our guests. You will be responsible for the day to day smooth and profitable operation of the Retail areas through a proactive approach to operational issues and personnel management. They are providing a high-quality area, well-merchandised displays and on target and brand product availability. Ride photography is where we create memories and the role of Team Leader will be to motivate the team to sell photos and upsell where we can to maximise the memories.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Lead, train and develop the Retail team in its goal of delivering unique, memorable, and rewarding experiences to all our guests.
• Oversee the timing of the stock orders to maximize key trading periods.
• Understanding the principles of visual merchandising and creating impactful displays.
• Operationally focused and be hands-on where required.
• Daily checking of units to ensure full compliance and adherence to company policy.
• Implementing and maintaining housekeeping of units on a daily basis to ensure meeting high standards. Implementing our audit control policy. Involved with stock inventory management..
• Conducting staff reviews, back to works interviews and training team members.
• Strong administration experience alongside knowledge of IT systems/ ecommerce/ cash accounting required

Ideals:

• Previous hospitality/ retail background with 2 years Management/ Supervisory/ Leading a Team with proven results. Experience essential.
