eTickets are electronic tickets which are downloaded to your phone just like a boarding card, replacing Wristbands and Pleasure Beach Passes. eTickets gain entry to the park and allow unlimited all-day riding on all rides including Nickelodeon Land, subject to height restrictions.
The benefit for you as guests is that you will be able to bypass the Ticket Centre and directly enter the park through the main entrance to enjoy the rides, giving you more time on the park, and therefore greater value for money for your visit.
eTickets must be booked online in advance before midnight the day before your visit to Pleasure Beach Resort to benefit from the pre-booking saving. Same day eTickets may be booked online at the on-the-day rate.

BPB eGuide

Pleasure Beach Resort have launched a native mobile application on both iOS and Android.
The BPB eGuide is the perfect companion for a visit to the UK’s favourite amusement park. Get up to the minute queue times, store your eTickets, book ENSO & Speedy Passes, and see what on park entertainment, shows & events are on during your visit. You may also receive exclusive offer notifications throughout the day.

How it works

The process is very simple:

Click ‘BOOK NOW’ and select your visit date, and add the number of eTickets that you require (in the same way you would for a Wristband).

After completing your purchase, you will then receive a confirmation email. You must then activate your eTicket. The best way to do this is to download our BPB eGuide app from your app store. 

To activate your eTicket on the app, simply create an account and follow the instructions on the screen, submit a photo of yourself to attach to your ticket. This can be taken with your phone or upload a picture from your gallery.

Once you have activated your eTicket, you can then invite all of the people in your booking to activate their eTicket too. You can do this by sending them an invitation via WhatsApp/Email/Messenger. They must then follow the same process to activate their eTicket.

Once you have activated eTickets, when you arrive, you can head straight to the main entrance and scan your eTicket at the scanners to enter the park.

To access the rides, you simply scan your eTicket at the ride entrance, the same way as you would with a Wristband.


top tips

Some handy tips to get the most out of your eTicket:

  • Make sure you activate your eTicket before you arrive – there’s no time limit to how much in advance you can activate it. This will save you time when you arrive.
  • You can create eTicket groups for your visit using only one QR code for up to 6 people – you can choose your group name too!
  • Make sure your phone battery is fully charged for your visit.
  • Battery saving tip – you can save your eTicket QR code to your lock screen on your phone for your visit.
  • You can now purchase phone charging banks in the retail shops from just £2  we also have NEW Pleasure Beach branded charging banks you can purchase too.
  • We also have rentable battery chargers available – you must download an app in order to use this service. Details of this are available in the following places across the park; ICON shop, Infusion exit, Nick Shop, Kiss Me Quick, Wallace & Gromit, Big One camera unit and Guest Services.
  • You can print your eTickets at home.
  • If you have children in your group you can also get printed eTickets for them.


eTickets are the only method of entry to the park. Once you have activated your eTicket(s), you can print them at home. Alternatively, once you have scanned your eTicket(s) to enter the park, you can receive a printed version from the Wallace and Gromit, ICON, or Nickelodeon Land retail shops.

You can store multiple eTickets for different people on one phone. Alternatively, printed copies are available from some retail units and Guest Services. During peak times you may have to queue for this service.

Your eTicket is personal to you and your booking for your chosen date of visit.  One eTicket can only be used by one person. Your photograph is used to verify that you are the holder of the eTicket.  Your photograph will not be used for any other purposes and is not stored or held by Blackpool Pleasure Beach beyond the date of your visit.  Guests who are not able to or do not want to provide a photograph, may be issued with a park entry pass instead at the Ticket Centre on arrival. Staff members will require your online booking reference number. You will need to wait and queue for this service at peak times.

You will need to make sure the photo only contains one face, that the image is not too large a file size, that it is a recent photo of you and that your phone and browser settings allow the camera to be accessed.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach offers a number of charging points in venues around the park. Please ask a member of staff for details of their locations during your visit should you require this. In addition to this charging banks are available to purchase in our retail stores across the park.

If you are unable to use your phone for any reason, or during your visit, you can visit Guest Services and be issued with a Printed eTicket instead. During peak times you may have to queue for this service.

We have Adult (aged 12+) and Junior (aged 11 and under) eTickets. All eTicket gives you entry to the park and unlimited all-day riding on all rides including Nickelodeon Land, subject to Height Restrictions.

Essential Companion eTickets are available for one accompanying guest where the person requiring their assistance has a valid Access Card which displays the “+1” symbol. Full details of the application process is available at our Accessibility Page.
