We are looking for an experienced Plumber / Gas Engineer to join our small utilities and maintenance team, supporting Pleasure Beach Resort, the Big Blue and Boulevard Hotel.

This role would suit someone experienced in the trade who enjoys practical hands-on work and wants a steady role without the pressures of large contracting firms. Many of our systems are established and well understood, and you’ll be working alongside an experienced team responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure across the site.

The role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of building services including commercial and domestic plumbing systems, gas appliances, heating plant, and general mechanical services.

The ideal candidate will be expected to maintain and work across the full asset profile including properties, hotels, theatres & other venues.

This role will include weekend working on a rota basis through the open season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of commercial and domestic plumbing systems
• Servicing and fault finding on gas appliances and heating systems
• Supporting maintenance of boilers, pipework, pumps, and plant equipment
• Responding to planned maintenance tasks and reactive repairs
• Assisting with small installation projects and system upgrades

• Estimate time, materials, and costs required for each project.

• Mentor & support junior team and/or apprentices
• Maintaining accurate service records and reporting faults
• Working as part of a small team maintaining essential site utilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Working Pattern:

• Standard weekday working pattern 7am – 15:30
• Participation in a 1 in 3 weekend cover rota
• Weekend cover is returned with days off during the week
