Before the Visit

We would love to welcome you and your students to Pleasure Beach Resort for a school trip!  You can make a provisional booking by filling out our booking form HERE, emailing [email protected] or calling 0871 222 8787.

All we need to start with is your chosen date of visit, the estimated number of students and staff and whether you are organising an educational visit or a reward trip. Our dedicated team will talk you through everything you need to know and make sure your booking experience is easy and stress-free!

We only need exact numbers when you confirm the booking with us 10 days before the visit takes place. However, if you think your estimated numbers are too low, let us know as soon as possible so we can check availability for your visit date and make the necessary amendments.

Please note once you have confirmed your booking, we are unable to reduce your final numbers.

Once your booking has been confirmed 10 days prior to the trip taking place, we will send a Welcome Pack with everything you will need to bring inside.

All school groups receive blue wristbands which provide access to the park and to each ride. Please ensure everyone has their wristband affixed to their wrist prior to arriving at the park. School groups will be given blue wristbands as standard.

The lead teacher will receive the Welcome Pack, however, the information inside should be shared with all teachers and support staff before the visit takes place.

Absolutely!  Teachers are more than welcome to conduct a pre-visit to the park once a booking has been made for a school visit. The pre-visit must be arranged in advance by calling a member of the Education Team. Please note at least one valid school ID, matching the school name on the booking, must be presented to redeem the tickets.

Home Educators can take advantage of our school rates on term-time weekdays. To be entitled to this rate, you will need to provide a Local Education Authority de-schooling letter, issued by your local council. Please note, we require a minimum purchase of 15 tickets for the school rates to apply. School tickets can only be purchased in advance via the Education Team.

You can find our Important Documents, including Information Guide to Risk Assessment, as well as resources and downloads here.

During the Visit

No. Each student attending a school trip will affix a blue wristband on their wrist, which identifies them to our security ambassadors, who are instructed not to allow students to exit the park prior to 15:00 unless escorted by a teacher with school ID.

Please note blue wristbands are issued to primary and secondary school bookings as standard, however colleges and university groups should request blue wristbands when booking if they are required for their group.

Please ensure your meeting point at the end of the day is inside the park, as students will not be able to exit the park on their own.  We recommend meeting at our Sculpture Gardens, FY4 Fountains or opposite Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic, as these are spacious areas.
